About Agape

At Agapecare Foodbank in Spalding, we offer a hand to those facing hard times. With open arms and warm hearts, our doors are open twice weekly at the Lighthouse Church, 18-19 Broad St. Here, every Tuesday and Thursday from 12pm until 2.00pm, we provide emergency food support to the Spalding area.

If you are in need of a Food Parcel, you will need to have a referral before coming to the Food bank, these can be obtained from Citizens Advice, Tonic Health, Schools or any other support worker you may have such as Housing, Social Workers, Health Visitors etc. They will then email us to let us know that you need support.

We give out over 1000 food parcels annually via the Foodbank. Our foodbank wouldn't thrive without the continuous support from our community bins at Sainsburys and Morrisons, nor without the fresh produce regularly supplied by Frieburger and our local farmers.

Volunteer Run Foodbank

Every volunteer's effort at Agapecare Foodbank exemplifies the love of God in action, fostering a community empowered by compassion and unity. As we continue to serve, we remember the multitude of reasons people need us, and we stand ready to support, care, and restore hope wherever it's needed.
